Following the successful events of previous years, ACM Multimedia 2004 plans to include a number of day-long workshops on topics in new and emerging areas of interest to members of the multimedia research community. We solicit proposals for such workshops, especially on topics centered on novel and emerging media such as wireless and personal multimedia, haptic and smell, Internet-scale sensors, animation for gaming, etc., and encourage our colleagues to take part in their organization. All workshops will run in parallel on either October 15-16, 2004.
